Habit and leaf form. Shrubs, 1–2 m high. Branchlets not glaucous. Leaves simple, 50–300 mm long overall. Leaf blade 1–1.5 mm wide, dissected or undissected, flat, linear, subpinnatisect, not further divided. Leaf lobes 80–200 mm long, 1–2 mm wide. Margins entire, revolute or flat, enclosing the lower surface of the leaf blade, forming two grooves with the midvein. Hairs straight.
Inflorescence and floral features. Inflorescence terminal (rarely axillary); a raceme. Flowers green or yellow, very irregular. Pedicel 1.5–4 mm long. Perianth 7–8 mm long, simple-hairy, 4 -partite; lobes free and joined. Stamens 4. Pistil 16–22 mm long, sessile. Ovary hairy. Styles hairy, green or yellow. Pollen presenter oblique.
Fruit features. Fruit oblong or ellipsoidal, glandular hairy, not viscid, 15–22 mm long, flowers year round.
Flowering Time. Flowers all months.
Habitat. Amongst tall trees, or low trees, or spinifex grassland; in sand; occupying sandplains.
